A little family, a little Valentine

Today I have to show 2 altered items. I like to do those and the mini's between all the layouts.
The first one is a 7Gypsies tray that I decorated with Bella Blvd papers and stickers from the Family Dynamix collection.

The second one is this simple box that I decorated into a Valentine giftbox.

I painted the box white and used BoBunny Crushed stickers and papers to decorate it.

Creative Scrappers Sketch #192

When I started scrapping, many years ago, I mostly did multiple photo layouts. That worked best with all the travel photo's I did. Later on I started doing single photo layouts about just the simple things and moments in life. But lately I'm trying those multiples again and I'm really enjoying it. There are also many sketches to find for multiple photo layouts and one of them I used today.
It is a sketch from Creative Scrappers.

This is my take on it. Again lots of Lilybee Head over Heels from My Scrapbook Nook January kit. Love those papers with the bright colors!  TFL

Get Picky - January Sketch #16

Last night I did this month's sketch from Get Picky. Get Picky has sketches for multi photo layouts, wich I always love to do! I used My Scrapbook Nook's January Kit for this Layout, that's filled with LilyBee stuff.
This is my take on it.

Challenge #2 My Scrapbook Nook

Today I did challenge #2 from My Scrapbook Nook.
This time the challenge is: choose 10 patterned papers and use all of them on a page.

I thought that it would be a difficult one, but actually I created this one pretty fast. Well, fast for a slow scrapper like me lol

This is what I did with the challenge.

Everything I used is from the January Kit of My Scrapbook Nook: LilyBee - Head over Heels and thickers from American Crafts.

Challenge #1 My Scrapbook Nook

First of all Happy New Year to all of you!

The last month I totally lost the mojo and haven't done anything scrap wise. But at My Scrapbook Nook there is a 5 week long crop started this weekend. Every Saturday and Sunday there will be a challenge with great prizes to win. So participating in these challenges will hopefully bring the mojo back!
The first challenge is:

supplies:
cardstock 12*12 (edit: or other if you scrap another size!)
3 different patterned papers
a tag or journalling card.
ribbon (edit: place where you like)
a chipboard embellishment (edit: place where you like)
a sticker
banners (ready made or you can make them yourself)
flowers
thickers / alphabet
border punch
pen for journalling
photo (no larger than 4''*3'')

Step 1:in patterned paper (pp) 1 cut out two small strips measuring 12''* ¼'' and adhere to 2 of the four borders (you choose!!)
Step 2: in pp 2 cut out two other small strips measuring 12''* ¼'' and adhere to 2 of the 4 borders (you choose!!)
Step 3: in pp 3 : cut out a rectangle measuring 5''*3.5'', place on your cardstock (don't stick it down just yet).
Step 4: add your journalling card / tag to the rectangle.
Step 5: cut out 2 strips of pp (which ever you like) size: 3.5''*1'' (you can use your border punch on them!) and add them by slipping them underneath the rectangle. You can glue everything down now!
Step 6: place your photo on the cluster element rectangle-journalling card/tag-border strips.
Step 7: add your banners (I made three tiny ones)
Step 8: add your sticker
Step 9: add your flowers
Step 10: add your title

the only additional things you may add are: journalling and mists/inks!

And this is my take on it:
