DT Creative Scrappers - sketch #265

It's already time for a new sketch at Creative Scrappers and this month our sketches are sponsored by Scraptastic Kit Club.

I had a lot of fun with this sketch, all the different squares and rectangles are perfect to go crazy with embellishments. I used the Chic Tags Happy Place collection for this layout and added some wood veneers and enamel dots.

Hop over to the Creative Scrappers blog to see what my fellow team members made with this sketch! You can also link up your own layouts there that you've made with this sketch for your chance to win a Scraptastic kit!

As a nice little bonus, teammember Jody created this awesome cut file for you to use with this sketch. You can download it overhere.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Sunday!

DT Paper Issues - Count your Lucky Stars part 2

I'm really liking the current issue we're having at Paper Issues, so I decided to make another layout for it. Lori Whitlock is sponsoring this issue. I picked one of her quotes cut files for the Silhouette and used her Tall font for the title of my layout. All papers and embellishments are from Amy Tangerine's Cut & Paste collection.

Last September when I was in Las Vegas, I found out that my scrappy friend Tammy from Canada would arrive there on the last day of my vacation. So of course we had to meet up! We've had some drinks and I had a real great time with Tammy and her friend. So happy to have had the chance to meet her in real life!

You have until Sunday March 30th to link up your projects to the Count your Lucky Stars issue for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the Lori Whitlock store

There are lots of new products again in the Paper Issues store, like this fabulous Gold 4x4 Instagram album from We R Memory Keepers.

Check out all new products overhere in the store and use my code DANIELLE20 for 20% off your entire purchase!

DT Paper Issues - Count your Lucky Stars

We have a new link up over at Paper Issues: Count your Lucky StarsLori Whitlock is our very generous sponsor for this issue!

For my layout I used this phrase cut file by Lori Whitlock. At first this layout might look like just another travel layout, but to me this one means so much more. This quote is exactly representing how I feel lately. I'm so very aware of the fact that I'm learning every day, especially about myself. I'm walking this never ending road called life and becoming closer each day to who and what I want to be.
The October Afternoon Travel Girl collection was a perfect fit, I just can't get enough of this collection!

It seems like there's new stuff in the Paper Issues store every day! The latest new items are the new Fancy Pants collections and you can find them overhere. Don't forget to use my code DANIELLE20 at checkout for 20% off!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

DT Life.Paper.Scrapbook. - March Mood Board challenge

It's time for a new Mood Board challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook. today. You can use this awesome mood board in any way it inspires you. Which can be the colors or any item you see in the pictures. This challenge is sponsored by Mei Li Paperie.

I went for a picture of one of those simple fun moments and this one was perfect because of the colors in the green hat. I still had a 6x6 paper pad from the Glitz Sunshine in my Soul collection and some of their sticker sheets. The colors in this collection were a perfect match. The background mist and splatters is the Heidi Swapp Colorshine Seafoam.

Based out of Hong Kong, Mei Li Paperie is the world’s newest online scrapbooking shop. Shipping worldwide, they strive to bring everyone the latest scrapbooking supplies no matter where you are. With low shipping rates (free for orders over $50USD!) their goal is to get you what you want when & where you want it… not six weeks later! They are the answer to those long wait times and crazy shipping fees that have plagued international scrapbookers.

I hope this mood board inspires you too! Be sure to link up your projects based on this mood board overhere at Life.Paper.Scrapbook. for your chance to win a $35 giftcard to the Mei Li Paperie store!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Today I'm sharing a layout I made just for fun. I found this background cut file by Tanya Batrak in the Silhouette store and I just new I had to do something with it. DT Paper Issues Swag Bag projects

Last week I've had some projects made with the February Swag Bag up on the Paper Issues blog. I challenged myself to only use products that we're in the Swag Bag and it was actually easier than I thought it was. The Paper Issues Swag Bags are filled with the best embellishments and cards that match all perfectly.

First I made this layout, which I only had to add kraft cardstock for, and started up the design for the page with the cards from the Swag Bag. As you can see it is not necessary to use romantic pictures to use Valentine themed products. This picture shows so much love, that it is perfect for these products too!

For my second project I wanted to use the plastic hearts box that came with the Swag Bag. I decorated it with some of the embellishments, filled it with grapes and it was turned into a little snack box!

If you want to be sure to have a Swag Bag delivered to your door each month, you can sign up here for your subscription. The Paper Issues Swag Bags are only $9.99 and when you use my code DANIELLE20 you'll get 20% off!

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend!

DT Paper Issues - Tip-toe Through the Tu-lips

Time flies by and it's already time for a new issue at Paper Issues: Tip-toe Through the Tu-lips. Here are some ideas for projects you can link up:

  • Anything having to do with spring (planting, raindrops, umbrellas, rainboots, flowers peeking through the ground).
  • Show us a project that features flowers (especially tulips) or even floral papers.
  • Share the best tip you've ever received.
  • Use lips as an embellishment.
  • Shhhh...have you ever had to tip-toe around while baby was sleeping? Maybe you made a sign to hang on baby's door.
  • Warmer weather is also a time to get your feet in tip-toe shape with a pretty pedicure.
As a born and raised Dutch girl I couldn't go for anything other than tulips. The Dutch are not only known for cheese, wind mills and wooden shoes, but also for tulips. Especially this time of the year I like to have some tulips to bring that spring feeling in the house.
I used the Webster's Pages Recorded collection by Allison Kreft for this layout.

You can link up any project that fits this issue overhere at Paper Issues for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Issues store. Right now is a good time to visit the store anyway, it is loaded with all new American Crafts collections. Be sure to not miss out on all the new yummie goodies you have on your wish list and use DANIELLE20 to shop with 20% off!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
