On the Go

Today I have a layout to share with the Chic Tags Let's Go collection. I wanted to challenge myself by using the vellum sheet with the golden map, as I find it so hard to use gold and there is a lot of it on this vellum. My title is made with the Travelin' On cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

This picture is taken during my latest flight to Las Vegas. The weather conditions were perfect to take this beautiful shot. I can tell you, more often than not the weather is not so good during my flights. Or I'm the lucky one with an incredible dirty window...

You can still shop with a 40% discount at Paper Issues, but hurry today is the last day!!

DT Paper Issues - Say cheese

We're having a new issue up at Paper Issues: Say Cheese! This one is sponsored by Maya Road, so link up your projects for your chance to win a goodie bag of Maya Road products.

I made a layout with one of my fave pictures from the last Florida trip, taken at one of my fave spots: Morada Bay Beach Cafe on Islamorada. You feel like being in paradise, having lunch or dinner on a white beach looking over the water and palm trees in front of you...sigh I wanna go back!

All papers, embellishments, stamps and alpha stickers are from the Elle's Studio Shine collection, available overhere in the Paper Issues store. I also used the Let's Talk Summer and Say Anything cut files from The Cut Shoppe.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!

Clique Kits - July Honor Society Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Clique Kits July Honor Society blog hop! You should be arrving here from Mariah's blog. Along the hop you'll find all kind of fun projects made by the Clique Kits members. Be sure to make a stop at every blog for your chance to win the giveaway!

The challenge this time is Captured on Film. Ideas for projects are using filmstrips, viewfinders or polaroids on your layout and/or featuring photos from a play, seeing a play or a movie.

When I was in New York of course I had to see one of the musicals that were playing on Broadway. At the time Shrek the Musical was playing at the Broadway Theater, I loved the movies so the choice to see the musical was quickly made. It was one of the best musicals I've ever seen!

For my layout I used the July kit A Midsummer Nights Dream that was filled with Echo Park Paper Capture Life, Crate Paper Open Road and Pinkfresh Studio.

Here's the line up for our blog hop today:

DT Life.Paper.Scrapbook. July Mood Board challenge

We're having a new Mood board challenge for you at Life.Paper.Scrapbook. Some fun colors and textures, I hope you feel inspired too and will join us! This challenge is sponsored by Scrappy Canary.

My layout is about one of my favorite spots in Universal Studios: Curious George goes to Town. It's actually a fun playground where a lot of water is involved, but we love to hang around there and get soaked when the temperatures are very high.

For my layout I used my Clique Kits July kit 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' with Echo Park Paper's Capture Life collection and Crate Paper On the Road ephemera. The title is made with one of the exclusive cut files that come with each kit.

Hop over to Life.Paper.Scrapbook. to see what my fellow team members created and link up your own projects made with this moad board for your chance to win a prize provided by Scrappy Canary!

DT The Cut Shoppe - Hello Life

Today I have a new layout for The Cut Shoppe to share with you. I used the 'hello life' part of the Say Anything cut file and the 'jet setter' from the Around the World cut file.

This picture is taken at Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort, where I just had to spend an hour or 2 in this hammock. For my layout I used the Elle's Studio Shine collection, which is so fun and bright and perfect for this photo!

This Around the World set was revealed last week and already a favorite of mine!

And this is the Say Anything set where my big title came from.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

New York - the city that never sleeps

Today I'm sharing a layout made with the Clique Kits July kit A Midsummer Nights Dream. This kit is loaded with the Echo Park Paper Capture Life collection and embellishments from Crate Paper, We R Memory Keepers and Pinkfresh Studio.

For my first layout with this kit I used a picture of New York by night, with in the middle the Empire State building. The Clique kits always come with some exclusive cut files and the striped background is one of this month's cut files. Of course I had to use the Bokeh Teal paper for the background as well, it's a perfect fit for the night picture with all the lights.

I used the Pinkfresh Studio gold foil alpha for my title and placed it diagonally to fallow the design of the striped background. The small alpha stickers are from Studio Calico. All the background stripes are covered with the small gold striped washi tape.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

DT The Cut Shoppe - Make Everyday Awesome

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I'm sharing my first layout for The Cut Shoppe. I used the Awesome Argyle 8.5x11 cutfile for the background of this layout. Instead of using the actual cut out, I used the negative of it and placed it on the background paper. For my title I used the Say Anything cut file, which is part of a set of phrases.

All papers and embellishments are from the Teresa Collins Something Wonderful collection.

The Awesome Argyle cut file was just revealed last Thursday and you can find it overhere in the store.

This is the complete set of Say Anything.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your Sunday!

DT Paper Issues - Gettin' the Scoop on the Sweet Days of Summer

Last Monday a new issue started at Paper Issues: Gettin' the Scoop on the Sweet Days of Summer! You can link up your projects that have anything to do with summer, how you escape the heat, swimming, running under the sprinkler, vacation, ice cream, popsicles and other summer treats, barbecues, carnivals, flip flops or what's the latest news/scoop. You can also link up projects made with Bella Blvd products, they are sponsoring this issue and the winner will receive the Bella Blvd Summer Squeeze collection kit!!

For me Summer is spending time at the beach and in the ocean. Even though I live very close to the beach, we don't have steady hot weather in Summer overhere. So when I'm in Florida, I enjoy the days at the beach even more. This picture is taken at Clearwater Beach.

I used the Chic Tags Let's Go collection for this layout. I think it has the perfect colors and patterns for beach photos and I love the tidbits and wood veneers! The Preppy Plaid cut file is from The Cut Shoppe and I cut it out of vellum for a subtle touch behind the picture.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to link up your projects over at Paper Issues for your chance to win the Bella Blvd Summer Squeeze collection kit!
