DT The Cut Shoppe - The best way to spread Christmas cheer...

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout to share that I created for The Cut Shoppe. December is on it's way so there are some real fun Holidays themed cut files available in the store now. The Buddy the Elf set immediately caught my eye, as I totally love that movie!

For the background I used an older cut file, Counting Stars, that wasn't designed for the Holidays but still is a perfect fit for Christmas layouts. I sprayed the cut file with Heidi Swapp's Tinsel Color Shine to make it shine and sparkle.

I used my Clique into the Holidays kit for this layout, with papers and a chipboard frame from the My Mind's Eye Sleigh Bells Ring collection and embellishments from Pink Paislee Merry & Bright and Elle's Studio Good Cheer.

Last Friday The Cut Shoppe was having a blog hop with A Flair for Buttons, which you can find overhere. Both stores are having a coupon code, so have fun shopping!

A Flair for Buttons coupon code: BLOGHOP2014
Take 10% off of your order through November 28th.

The Cut Shoppe coupon code: SAVE25
Take 25% off of your order through November 28th.

DT Clique Kits - November Pep Rally

Welcome to the Clique Kits November Pep Rally! You should have arrived here from Carolina, if not you can start the complete hop overhere at the Clique Kits blog.

This month the challenge is to create something inspired by this mood board, which is a perfect match to the November Homecoming kit!

I totally wanted to play with some watercolors, so I cut one of the cut files, Juliana from 17Turtles designed for this kit, on white cardstock and watercolored it. The picture I used was inspired by one of the Lemon Owl journaling cards that has a ferris wheel on it. I also used papers and the alphabet from Webster's Pages Nest collection.

Here's your hop order for today:
Danielle <-- you are here

Of course I can't finish this post without some sneaks of the December Enchanted Meadow kit, I'm so excited about this one!

I love that the monthly kits are not themed, especially for people like me who don't scrap a lot of Holiday pictures. And if you do want a themed kit, they are available as well! You can find a variety of Clique Holidays kits overhere in the store.

Thanks for stopping by today, your next stop is Cassandra.

It's time for a new issue at Paper Issues: Get Your Game On! Ideas for projects you can link up would be sports, World Series, Superbowl, Olympics, family game night, favorite game, memories of childhood games/what games do your children play, dance, extracurricular activities, use bingo cards or game pieces, spinners, video games, Wii or other gaming systems. I love to play golf, even though I don't have much time for it. Usually I play when on vacation and where it's nice and warm. These golf pictures were taken at a golf course in Orlando FL and are perfect for this issue.

I used the Crate Paper Notes & Things collection, Pinkfresh Studio wood drop chevrons and the Words to Live By cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

DT The Cut Shoppe - Sarcasm is my super power

Hi there, I'm sharing a layout for The Cut Shoppe today. Yesterday some fabulous new cut files have been added to the store and when I saw the Hero Up set, I knew what to do with it right away!

During my last California trip I found these PJ's and just for fun I had this picture taken. Never knew that one day it would be perfect to create a layout with. In my case the S on the chest doesn't stand for Superwomen, but definitely for Sarcasm. I think the 'Sarcasm is my Super Power' cut file is one of my very faves! I also used a part of the Background Tiny Triangles on this layout.

The papers and embellishments are from the We R Memory Keepers It Factor collection, which has the perfect bright colors for the subject. I also added in some wood drop chevrons from Pinkfresh Studio.

These are the complete cut files that I used on this layout with a link to where to find them in the store.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

DT Paper Issues - The best view...

Hi everyone! I'm up with a new layout for Paper Issues today. For my layout I had the idea to scrap about myself, because that was one of the given ideas for our current issue 'Witchin' You a Happy Halloween'.

I started looking for a quote to use on my page and came across this one that I used for my title. It isn't so much about me, but besides the fact that it's a great match to the pictures, it's also one of the important lessons of life that I've learned along the years. Oh and I am in the pictures, so I guess that's enough for a layout about me ;-) In the picture on the left you see the Sentinel Dome in Yosemite and yes, I climbed that baby! The picture on the right is taken on top of it, with an amazing view.

Now on to the layout. I used the amazingly gorgeous Gossamer Blue Gramercy Road collection. The title is made with the Silhouette, I used the Callie Hand font for it.

You can find all the beautiful Gossamer Blue collections overhere in the Paper Issues store. Don't forget to use my code DANIELLE20 for 20% off your entire purchase!
