Paper Issues - Feeling Big

Hi everyone, I have a layout up for Paper Issues today. Our current issue is sponsored by Gossamer Blue and there's a December Main kit for you to win!

This layout is about a recent trip with my little niece to Madurodam, which is a small theme park in our city where you can find all the highlights of our country in miniature size. She loves this place and feels big between all the small buildings.

Because of our fabulous sponsor I used their beautiful On My Desk collection for this layout. The Flower Power background cut file is from The Cut Shoppe.

You can link up any Christmas or Holiday related project or anything with Gossamer Blue products overhere at our issue for your chance to win their December Main kit!

If you can't wait to get your hands on any new product, be sure to use code DANIELLE20 for 20% off all your purchases in the Paper Issues store!

Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous New Year's Eve and I hope to see you all again in 2015!

Clique Kits - Love us

Today I have a new layout to share for Clique Kits, featuring the January Tailor Made kit with Amy Tangerine's Stitch collection and additions from Chic Tags, Maya Road and Creative Embellishments.

For this layout I created my own background with the triangle background cut file that came with the January kit. I used it as a mask with gold embossing powder. Overhere on the Clique Kits blog you can see how I made it.

This layout is about our family Christmas brunch on Christmas Day. As you can see, I always have the most fun at the kids table. We laugh a lot, make fun and bake cookies in the cookie corner.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

The Cut Shoppe - Like

Hi everyone, I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas! Overhere it's still Christmas, as we have two Christmas days, but today is relaxing day for me. Watching movies and spending some time scrapping, it is.

I have a layout to share for The Cut Shoppe and it's with another picture from my California trip last September. San Francisco is one of my favorite cities in the whole wide world and I think we all know this Fisherman's Wharf sign. You just have to take a pic of it when you're there. This spot is a big 'like' for me, so the Word Art cut file is a perfect fit.

All papers and embellishments are from the Elle's Studio Sycamore Lane and Shine collections.

This is the complete Word Art cut file and you can find it overhere in the store.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Clique Kits - Holiday memories

Hi everyone! Christmas is just around the corner and I wanted to make sure I already had a mini album prepped, so I only need to add pictures when Christmas is over.

I have made a quick and easy mini album with the Clique into the Holidays kit and the big glassine bags that come with every kit. You can find a little tutorial over at the Clique Kits blog today.

Because the pages are not that big, I will use instax pictures for this album. When they are added, I will embellish the pages a little more where needed.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a wonderful Christmas!

Clique Kits - Create Happiness

Hi everyone! Today I have another layout to share for Clique Kits with the December Enchanted Meadow kit. Besides all the Heidi Swapp September Skies papers and embellishments, this kit also had some gorgeous Echo Park papers and chipboard elements. The colors of it asked for some fun and happy pictures.

My little niece shares my love for crafting and already at a very young age I started introducing her to scrapbooking and now she's working on her own Disney album. Every time she comes over, she asks right away if we're going to scrapbook. Two weeks ago I asked her if she wanted to have lunch at McDonalds and she said: Can't we just have a sandwich at your house, so I can quickly start working on my album? Uhm ok, you gotta love this kid!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Clique Kits - The cutest Dutchie

Welcome to the Clique Kits December Pep Rally. You should have arrived here from the super talented Tyra. If not, you can start our blog hop overhere at Clique Kits.

This month's challenge: Enchanted Meadow features many icons all about sparkle and shine! Share something in your project or text of your post inspired by this image and quote.

Everyday life can be stressful, it's not about the ups and downs, it's about how we respond to them! Here are some ideas to challenge yourself with this month:
- Do you make lemonade when life hands you lemons?
- Sometimes mistakes and 'fails' turn to even something better or unexpected in our projects. Have you made something ugly into something beautiful?
- Everyday life looks a little different for each of us, but we have in common our hobby which teaches us to cherish our memories - with all their beautiful imperfections.

My favorite way to get out of daily stress, is to spend a day with my little niece and do something fun with her. She is such a happy fun little girl and when I'm with her I lose all stress and forget about not so happy things for a while.

Two weeks ago I took her to Madurodam, where all the highlights of our country are re-built in miniature size. It also has some fun interactive elements and we had such a wonderful day. The only thing big in Madurodam are the super sized wooden clogs and I didn't even had to ask Phiene to pose for the camera.

And here's the line up for today:

Little.Miss.Evie. - Far & Away

Hi everyone! Today I want to introduce you to a brand new manufacturer: Little.Miss.Evie. They have the most gorgeous embellishments that fit any project: enamel dots, sequins, washi tapes, wood veneers and stamp sets. Below I will show you some of my faves.

I wanted to make a layout with mainly the Little.Miss.Evie. products, which means hardly any papers. I started with creating a diagonal design with the Chevron Gold and Heartbeat washi tapes. Then I placed gold sequins over the Heartbeat tapes and handstitched them to the background. I used only one piece of paper and a photo overlay from the American Crafts Shimelle collection to place behind the photo. To embellish the rest of the page, I added two wood veneer butterflies, some enamel dots and stamps from the Love to Travel and Hello Today stamp sets.

Here is a selection of my Little.Miss.Evie. faves, but I seriously could pick anything from their collection!

Currently the products are only available at Scrapdelight and they ship world wide! You can find Little.Miss.Evie. overhere on Instagram and Facebook. Be sure to follow them to see what more is coming up!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
