Altenew NEW Sweet Moments Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi everyone!

Today we're celebrating the release of the Altenew Sweet Moments collection and we're have a HUGE giveaway with $300 total in prizes! If you are following the blog hop list, you should have arrived here from my super talented sweet friend Lilith Eeckels. You can find the entire hop list at the bottom of this post.

The Sweet Moments Collection has 6 new stamp sets, 5 hot foil plates, 2 embossing folders and 3 stencil sets! Each and every new item is gorgeous and so much fun to work with.

I have 5 cards to share with you today that I made with the Sweet Moments collection.

I just had to start of with one of the new Hot Foil Plates, I'm so excited Altenew started making these now! I used the Splatter Hot Foil Plate to create the background of my card and I'm totally in love with the result! I created a bouquet of flowers and leaves from the Colorful Soul stamp & die set. For the sentiment I gold heat embossed of the sentiments from this same set, die cut it and added it to the bouquet with foam tape.

The second one is made with the All Things Sweet Stamp & Die Bundle. I stamped the sorbet and cupcake directly on the background with Crisp Dye Ink Cube sets. Then I masked them to ink blend the background. I placed the Halftone stencil on top of the ink blend and did a baby wipe ink resist. I stamped another sorbet and the stack of chocolate pieces, die cut them and added them to the card with foam tape for some dimension. I finished the card with a sentiment from this stamp set.

For the third card I created a background with the new Woven Basket 3D Embossing folder. I stamped and die cut a bunch of the flowers and leaves from the Colorful Soul stamp & die set with Crips Dye Ink cubes and created a wreath. The first part of the sentiment is gold heat embossed and die cut and the second part is white heat embossed.

For the fourth card I created a background again with the gorgeous Woven Basket Embossing Folder, I love the beautiful detail it gives a card. I stamped and die cut the beautiful plants from the Pots and Plants Stamp & Die set and colored them with Artist Alcohol Markers. I white heat embossed the sentiment to a black cardstock strip.

I kept the last card clean and simple by just using the Rose Mellow Layering Stencil with Crisp Dye Inks directly on the background. I love how you can create a gorgeous bouquet with just layering stencils! The sentiment is gold heat embossed and die cut and I stamped the small sentiment directly on the background.
