The mojo is gone this last week, so no layouts to share. But last night I did a different quick project. When I'm reading books I definitely need bookmarkers and I love to make them myself.
Lately all the layering on layouts is really hot and trendy, but with a bookmarker it all has to be flat. The Scrapbook Nook kit of this month is perfect for it with the rub-ons, twine and gorgeous papers of MME Miss Caroline.

Lift the person above you
We had this fun challenge at My Scrapbook Nook: lift the person above you. You could sign up for this challenge and you had to lift the person who signed up before you. I had to scraplift Carol Monson who is amazingly talented! It was hard to choose from her gallery which layout I wanted to lift, but then I found her layout Jelly Time, which has the photo's in a photo booth style. That was something I always wanted to do with some photo's of Phiene. So I grabbed my march kit, filled with My Mind's Eye, Miss Caroline.
Thank you Carol for this great inspiration and your help with photoshop!!

Skiing photo's done, let spring begin!
Now that I started doing a ski layout, I decided to do some more. I love those photo's with the Sasparilla collection!
Here's the first one:
The next one I made with this sketch from My Scrapbook Nook.
Well now that the skiing photo's are done, I'm totally done with Winter!! Let spring begin with lots of sunshine, longer days and ofcourse papers with soft, sweet colors!

The next one I made with this sketch from My Scrapbook Nook.
I wanted to use some more photo's so made it a double pager. It has been a while that I did a double pager. It's almost hard to believe that when I started scrapbooking, I did nothing else but double pagers.

October Afternoon Thursday Sketch
Last Thursday I saw this sketch from October Afternoon and sometimes you immediately know what to do with it. I chose 4 photo's of the birth of nephew Jan. Instead of the circles I used little post-it notes and wrote the birth info on them.
This is the sketch:
And this is my take on it:

Some more October Afternoon
This time I worked again with my February kit from My Scrapbook Nook. So that's Sasparilla by October Afternoon. I figured out that this collection fits perfect with my skiing photo's. So the first layout is done and I'm working on some more. Love the idea of finally having my skiing photo's scrapped.
