We will be hopping until Sunday, June 30th, at 11:59 p.m. CST. The grand prize winner will be announced on Tuesday July 2nd.

My take on the Project Life theme turned out in a layout. I have never done Project Life, I know myself too well to know that I won't keep up with it :-) But it was fun to be 'forced' now to try something in PL style.
I just took some random everyday life photos about things I love to wear, to eat, to drink, to use, to look at and of course one of me with my best friend. I kept the design of the page clean and simple because of the many photos.
I loved working with the Here & Now collection by Echo Park, the bright colors are also saying something about me, these colors make me happy! All the stamps are from the new July release of Give a Girl a Blog, this stamp set is perfect for Project Life!

Echo Park Here & Now: Chalkboard/Lt Pink paper, Dots paper, Rainbow Chevrons paper, Flower Buds paper, Flower Patch paper, Chalkboard Quotes paper, Teal/Green paper, Feathers paper, Alpha stickers.

DT Use it Tuesday - Bring on the sunshine

Today is a little sad day, this is going to be my last project for Use it Tuesday... I know, to all fun things comes an end and there's always a moment of time coming that you move on. But even though I chose to not enter for a 3rd term, I still feel a little sad. I have had such a blast with this fun and super easy going team this last 12 months, so thanks for having me, girls!!

Ok wipe away the tears and let's move on to the new challenge :-) This time it's 'Bring on the Sunshine'. You can link up any project, layout, card etc as long as it has anything to do with sunshine or Summer.

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

I made a summer card with Simple Stories last year's Summer collection Summer Fresh. I used one of their pockets as a base for the card.

Now it's time for you to dig into your stash and go use it. Upload your project on the Use it Tuesday blog for your chance to be a Guest Designer at one of the upcoming challenges!

Don't forget we are on Facebook too, we would love if you stop by and say hi!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Totally cool & so sweet

I hope you're all enjoying the weekend, I'm enjoying mine for sure! Still no nice Summer weather overhere, but on the other hand it's perfect weather to stay in and scrap. My friend Sherri Funk has a fun challenge over at Scraptastic kit club and I decided to join in the fun. It's all about triangles and this is a trend I'm really in love with.

So I went playing with my Scraptastic Funky Town kit and used this super cute photo of Jan. His sister is not so much in the mood for photos lately and turns her head away when she sees a camera, but this little man still gives you his best smile. The title says it all: totally cool & so sweet! The triangle background on the kraft sheet is made with the triangle stamps from the Funky Town stamp set.

DT Use it Tuesday - Masculine

It is the 2nd Tuesday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Use it Tuesday. This time, with Father's Day around the corner, our challenge is to make anything masculine. It doesn't have to be Father's Day specifically, anything is fine as long as it is masculine and you used supplies from your stash.

***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***

I decided to actually go for a Father's Day card, just because I've never made one before. I had some American Crafts and Amy Tangerine leftover papers and I decided to gave my enamel dots by My Mind's Eye a good use. The Thickers and transparant letter stickers are by Amy Tangerine as well.

Now it's time for you to dig into your stash and go use it. Upload your project on the Use it Tuesday blog for your chance to be our Guest Designer at one of the upcoming challenges!

Don't forget we are on Facebook too, we would love if you stop by and say hi!

DT Practical Scrappers - Pie Charts

The On Trend team of Practical Scrappers is up with a new trend today, Pie Charts! You see them in all kinds of ways: as a pattern on papers, die cuts, masks etc.

Last week my Paper Issues package arrived and it had the Lily Bee Pinwheel collection in it. One of the papers has a pattern with cart wheels, I thought it would be perfect to use for the pie charts trend! The photo I picked for this layout is one of my faves of my nephew Jan. When he sees a camera, he gives you that flirty look. He will be a heartbreaker one day.... :-)
