Pretty Little Studio - Feature Friday

Hello everyone! We're featuring vellum tape today over at Pretty Little Studio. I was so happy to see this new addition to the Let's Go collection, there are so many ways to use it and it gives a perfect touch to every project.

For the card I'm sharing today I used the vellum strips to create the background. This is such a quick and easy way to create a design. At the end of each strip I added a gold star or heart. For the sentiment I used the Tiny ABC Cloudy Day and put them on a shipping tag, that I layered on another bigger shipping tag. I tucked in a clear tab shape behind the tags and the card is done!

Um Wow Studio - NOLA City Park

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a layout made for Um Wow Studio. I went for the super gorgeous Memorandum collection from Pink Paislee. It has the perfect touch of vintage feel that matches this picture, taken at the New Orleans City Park during my latest travels.

The Memorandum collection has some beautiful gold details, that's why I gold foiled the UWS chipboard again with the WRMK Heatwave tool. If you missed that in my last post for UWS, you can find a how to video overhere. I also added two UWS flair buttons to this layout.

Pretty Little Studio - take off

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a layout for Pretty Little Studio. For the big title of my page I cut it out of white cardstock with the Silhouette and backed up the letters with scraps of paper. This is one of my fave techniques to use up all those scraps I have laying around. All papers and embellishments are from the Let's Go collection. I'm totally in love with these colors and patterns!

Paper Issues - Planner Fox

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a planner spread of my Love Doki planner. For the current Let's Plan On It challenge at Paper Issues I designed these FREE to download Planner Fox printables.

I used a little bit of everything from the printables on this spread. I backed up the bookmarks so it is double sided. You can use the double banners and flags in two different ways: you can fold them in half and wrap them around the edge of your page or you can cut them in half and use each part separately.

I use different colored pens in my planner so I can easily see what's work, crafty assignements etc. On this spread I used lots of orange striped washi to match the cute fox. Also, did you already know about the super awesome PaperPOPs? They're exclusively designed for Paper Issues by Parker on the Porch and a perfect addition to your planner and scrapbook pages!

We love to see what you'll do with these printables, so download them for free overhere and share your planner pages with us here for your chance to win!

Um Wow Studio - Beach life

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a layout made for Um Wow Studio. I wanted to try something new with the chipboard elements: I gold-foiled them with the We R Memory Keepers Heatwave tool.

I've made a video to show you how to do it, you can find it overhere on my youtube channel.

Besides the UWS chipboard elements and flair buttons, I used the Dear Lizzy Documentary collection.

Pretty Little Studio - Pinterest Inspiration

Hello everyone, I'm sharing a layout for Pinterest Inspiration at Pretty Little Studio today. This is the inspiration we're working with.

For my layout I wanted to use these colors in the background of my page, so I took out my watercolors, made wide watercolor stripes and tried to get the colors as close as possible to the ones in the picture.

I added a piece of the Cove Atlantic clear sheet over the bottom watercolor stripes, I think the effect is pretty cool!

Because I liked the clear sheet over the watercolors so much, I cut out the clear word Adventure, placed it over one of the watercolor stripes and this became the title of my page. The layout is about the Elephant Seals at the Pacific Coast and them being there is just a tiny part of their life's adventure. I loved learning more about them while I was there.

I also had to add one of the Adventure Watercolor Stickers and picked the 'journey' one, as it stands for the journey these seals are about to go on.

Paper Issues - Cut it Up Saturday

Hello everyone, it's Cut it Up Saturday at Paper Issues! This month I designed a Halloween Web cut file for you, to help you document your Halloween pictures or making Halloween home deco. You can download the cut file for FREE overhere in the Paper Issues store and play along with us for your chance to win.
A couple weeks ago I found this orange clipboard and thought it would be perfect for some Halloween deco. I cut out the web a little smaller than the original and used glue dots to adhere it to the clipboard. We don't celebrate Halloween here, so I don't have any pictures of it. During my last USA travels in September I took a pic of this blanket in a store to have at least something for my project. I painted the 'happy halloween' wood veneer in black and when it was dry I went over it with a teeny tiny bit of white paint. Other than that, I used two orange paper bags, twine and a clothes pin.

It's your turn, download the cut file overhere for FREE and share your projects made with it overhere in our challenge album for your chance to win!

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Pretty Little Studio - Roadtrip

Hello everyone! I have a new layout to share that I've made for Pretty Little Studio and it's the first pic I've scrapped about my latest travels. I've been roadtripping from New Orleans, LA to St. Augustine, FL and back. It was an amazing trip and I loved driving along the most beautiful beaches.

For my layout I used a sheet of the Let's Go Sydney paper and I wanted my title to be in a like wise font as the prints on the paper. The font 'Impact' comes very close, so I cut my title in this font with the Silhouette out of the Siesta Key paper. To give it a little more detail, I added an internal shadow which I used with a blue sketch pen for the Silhouette.

Mason Jar Vase

Hello everyone! Lately I'm in this DIY mode and love to make some cute home deco. I realized I had too many mason jars that I don't use, so I painted two of them to use them as vases. I went for pastel colors and painted one of them in baby blue and the other one yellow. As a finishing touch I wrapped some twine around the top of the jars.

This what they look like with my favorite flowers in them.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend!
