DT Use it Tuesday - Anything goes
It is the 4th Tuesday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Use it Tuesday. This time Anything Goes! So get out those pretty papers you didn't cut yet, use those gorgeous buttons or brads, ink up that uninked stamp. Just anything as long as it's from your stash!
You still have 3 days left to send in your application for the Use it Tuesday DT Call!! So hurry, this team is so much fun!
***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***
I've made a card for this challenge and used some leftover scraps of paper from the Echo Park For the Record 2 collection. I also used 2 uninked stamps by Studio Calico. The label and the sentiment are 2 different stamps that I used together.
Now it's time for you to dig into your stash and go use it. Upload your project on the Use it Tuesday blog for your chance to be our Guest Designer at one of the upcoming challenges!
Don't forget we are on Facebook too, we would love if you stop by and say hi!

DT Cre8tive Cre8tions - Thanks card
Today I'm sharing a card I've made for Cre8tive Cre8tions. This time no flair, I just used some of the Bold & Basic papers and the Basic clear stamp set.
I love how the colors of the Bold & Basic papers work against the kraft background. The stamping on the golden colored paper came out as a fun surprise too, the paper works kind of resisting!
Thanks for stopping by today, happy hump day!

DT Practical Scrappers - Handstitching
A new week, a new theme at the On Trend team of Practical Scrappers: handstitching! This one is right up my alley, I add some handstitching to almost all of my layouts. I just love the extra touch it gives to my pages.
I used my Scraptastic April kit for this layout and started off with the Crate Paper DIY Shop papers. It felt kinda challenging to use so much black and white, but with adding some color I think it turned out fine. I also used some houndstooth tissue paper and tape. This is where my latest order from Paper Issues came in and I just had to save it to use on a layout :-)
The photo on this layout is taken during my last trip to Orlando. I have a thing for carousels and for Dr. Seuss, so the Caro-Seuss-el in Universal Studios is my absolute favorite. I found this font to use for my title.
Crate Paper DIY Shop: Design paper, Project paper
Teresa Collins He said, She said: He said quotes paper, She said Die Cuts
Basic Grey Knee Highs: Four Square paper
Studio Calico Snippets: chipboard arrows
Elle's Studio Day to Day: Tabs
Ormolu: exclusive flair
Paper Issues: houndstooth tissue paper, houndstooth tape
White tag
Distress Ink Antique Linen
Silhouette Cameo
Handstitching
Now it's time for you to show us some handstitching on your projects and share them with us at the Practical Scrappers Facebook page.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

DT Life.Paper.Scrapbook - Incredibly happy
It's time for the next color challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook and we have one that really gave me a summer feeling. Lovely soft pastel colors, love it!
The sponsor for this challenge is The Scrapbook Store and they are offering a AU$20 gift voucher to the winner.
Now off to the challenge, these are the colors for this month
I decided to play with the Elle's Studio Serendipity collection, which has the same beautiful pastel colors. This collection is so easy to work with, it has everything I need to make a layout. I also love the paper strips that you usually cut off the papers, they have perfectly matching patterns and are great to use as borders! This photo of Phiene was taken last weekend when she had made her own cupcakes. Of course you always need to try them yourself first ;-)
Elle's Studio Serendipity: Treasure paper, Flowers paper, Cherish paper, Lucky paper, Lil' Snippets happiness, Cut outs, Pennants, Tabs, Circle Tags, Tiny Tags, Tidbits.
Amy Tangerine Yes Please roller stamp
I hope you feel inspired by these colors too and that you'll play along with us. You can upload your layout on the Life.Paper.Scrapbook website.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I decided to make a mixed media canvas this time and wanted to use a really old photo, one of my grandfather with his parents and siblings. This photo is taken in the early 30's and I just love this photo, it is one of my beloved favorites. I went for a vintage style canvas, of course because that would match the photo best. The vintage papers en elements were in my stash for about 9 years!Gesso, Golden acrylic paint, Liquitex modeling paste, Prima / Donna Downey masks, Mod Podge, Distress Inks Antique Linen & Walnut Stain, burlap, camera washi tape, vintage papers & elements (unknown)

DT Paper Issues - Pink Paislee
Currently we are having Pink Paislee issues at Paper Issues. Yes that's right, Pink Paislee is sponsoring and giving away 2 prize packs!! So hurry and upload your favorite Pink Paislee projects for you chance to a Hope Chest prize pack or a Cottage Farms prize pack.
When I'm back from a vacation I always want to make a mini album about it really quick, so that I don't have to worry about these photos not being scrapped. Some of these photos end up on layouts anyway, but that usually takes a little longer.
Today I'm sharing the mini album I just finished about my last trip, which was only 2 weeks ago, so I think it was pretty fast :-) I've made this one with the Portfolio collection from Pink Paislee, combined with some stuff from the Artisan collection. I used a Lori Whitlock cut file for the Silhouette as a base for this album.
I'm a happy girl now that I did it again, no pressure anymore about my vacation photos, YAY! At the same time I hope you feel inspired to create something fabulous with any Pink Paislee collection and upload it on the Paper Issues blog overhere.
When you decide to go shop till you drop in the Paper Issues webshop, don't forget to use my coupon code DANIELLE20 for 20% off your entire purchase!! (pssst...Atlantic from Studio Calico just arrived!)

This is the outside of the album. It's only 3x3x2 inches, so I can easily take it anywhere with me.
The album is actually a cover that holds 5 little boxes.
On this photo you can see that the 5 boxes are attached to the cover with twine.
This is the first box when it's open and it holds some photos about the flight and the hotel area.
On the next couple of photos you see the rest of the boxes when they are open. You can also see the photos on the back of the previous box. It was hard to photograph each box complety, but they hold 5 photos each.
