Elle's Studio - Thursday sketch

I decided to play along with this week's sketch from Elle's Studio. I love the design and all the circles in this one.

I had this photo of Phiene where she's totally focused on the I-pad. I'm still amazed how easy little kids know how to operate any kind of computer or tablet and how 'normal' it is that they watch movies and cartoons on it. You can definitely call this the I-pad generation!

I'll also link up this layout at the current issue at Paper Issues. DT Life.Paper.Scrapbook. - February Mood Board challenge

What I love about the Mood Board challenge is that you don't have to go with the colors in it, you can use it in any way it inspires you. I have to admit that my imagination went a little crazy on this one, but I started with thinking about things I love and that make me happy. That's how I came to use this pic taken at my local book store. Then I actually wanted to go for a hearts background made with the Silhouette, but it turned out in this diagonal background made with the word 'books'.

DT Creative Scrappers - Sketch #262

I picked photos of my 3 favorite rides at Disney World Hollywood Studios and used the Chic Tags Happy Place collection from Paper Issues. Amy Tangerine - Birthday girl

I'm a little late scrapping this picture. This one is taken at Phiene's 3rd birthday, she's 4,5 years old now. I have been doubting about this picture, because it's a little blurry and the lightning was really bad. But I've edited it a little and decided I still wanted it to be scrapped.

 

I went for red colors to match her gorgeous dress and the grey background paper with the numbers was perfect to show it was her 3rd birthday. All papers and embellishments are from Amy Tangerine's Cut & Paste collection, from Paper Issues.

Today I have a layout to share with Elle's Studio Cameron collection, which is still my very favorite boys collection. I also added a few things I still had from their July kit. The stamps are from the following sets all by Elle's Studio: Cameron - So much fun set, Day to Day - Right here set, January 2014 set and the Hello Sweetheart set. I have made the title with my Silhouette and the sketch pens.

DT Paper Issues - Fill 'er Up

I used this issue in 2 ways on this layout. First of all every single moment I spend with my niece Phiene makes me happy. She's such a joy to have around, even though it doesn't really show in this picture... This is just a phase of her that whenever a camera shows up, she gets that 'yeah whatever'-look on her face and I kinda love it that I captured it. Life is not perfect and so isn't every picture!

 

The 2nd way I used this issue is die cutting this you&me frame with the Silhouette and I filled it up with papers, tags and the photo with an overlay. I made this layout with the Crate Paper Love Notes collection and added wood veneers from the Elle's Studio Love You More collection. The stamps are from Elle's Studio as well.
