Pretty Little Studio - Pinterest inspiration

Hello everyone! Today is pinterest inspiration at Pretty Little Studio and this image is what we got to work with.

I had to take a good look at this picture to think of how I would use this as inspiration. Then I noticed the diamond texture of the pineapple and it reminded me of the Aspen paper from the Let's Go collection. I cut out the diamonds of that paper and created my background with it.

Because there's also a detail of gold in this picture, I had to add some products of the Gold Mine collection. I used some of the Gold Mine papers and a piece of vellum from the Treasure Island collection for layers behind the picture.

I made the title with the Navy Tiny ABC. I love these stickers for longer titles!

Clique Kits - Good times

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my last layout as a DT member of Clique Kits, using the gorgeous September kit with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Hello Lovely collection. I want to thank the Clique girls for having me this year, it has been amazing!!

For this layout I used a picture that I'll treasure forever. I grew up with my grandparents living next door and I was very close with them, especially with my grandfather. He was like a true best friend to me. I was a difficult baby when it came to naps, unless I was laying on my grandfather's belly and we took a nap together. That was the trick to get me to sleep. I feel lucky that I was able to spend time with him on a daily base, because I already had to say goodbye to him when I was 11 years old. He will always have a special place in my heart!

Besides the goodies from the September kit, I used the Color Cast Designs Alpha set for the title of my page and added a wood veneer from the Embellish Me set.

Um Wow Studio - Get inspired

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to share for Um Wow Studio, using the Film Strip Border, Documented Hashtag Borders and Inspired Flair.

For this layout I was inspired by the colors of the bird house in the picture, so I painted the chipboard elements in a baby blue color. All papers and puffy stickers are from the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Things collection and I added a button from the beautiful Inspired Flair set.

Pretty Little Studio - Kings Canyon

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a layout for Pretty Little Studio, that I've made with the new Let's Go collection. 

First I started to cut up the Philadelphia paper and placed the strips in the corners of the white cardstock to create my background.

Then I started to layer some papers behind the picture. One of the papers that I just had to use is the Nashville one because of all the camping icons. This picture is taken at Kings Canyon where we went totally back to basic, so the camping theme was perfect.

I'm also in love with the Tickets Define Travel. Some of them are blanc so you can write on it, like I did with the blue one tucked under the photo. Others have some wonderful travel themed quotes. I used these at the bottom right of my layout.

Clique Kits - Wonderful

Because of the pretty soft colors and sentiments in this collection, I went for a coast picture taken at Pismo Beach that has pretty soft colors too because of the sunset.

Paper Issues - Cut it Up Saturday

It's Cut it Up Saturday at Paper Issues! Our new cut file is all about Back to School, so you can start right away documenting those pictures you took in the last couple weeks! You can download this file for FREE overhere in the store.

For those of you who don't have kids, don't worry, I don't have kids either and found my way in using this cut file anyway. The numbers and day, week and month could perfectly work for any other kind of layout or either in your planner or pocket pages. Or do like me and use the 'learn something new everyday' for any theme you like.

My everyday struggle is cooking a meal, I'm just simply missing the skills. So everything new that I do get done, is a huge achievement in my book. Recently I made the most delicious sauce for a fishburger. You can laugh all you want... :-) but I was proud of myself. I'm learning every day!

Um Wow Studio - Favorite beaches

Hello everyone! I have a mini album to share that I've made for Um Wow Studio with the fun Tag Book chipboard, that comes with a binding ring. This tag book makes it super easy to make a mini in a short time.

My album is about some of my favorite beaches, so it had to be colorful with colors that scream beach to me. The paper embellishments are from the Fancy Pants Summer Sun collection and for the cover of the mini I added a button from the Oh the places we'll go flair set.
