Pretty Little Studio - Pinterest Inspiration

Hello everyone! Today I'm up on the Pretty Little Studio blog, with a Pinterest Inspiration post. This is the inspiration we got to work with this week. I love that striped pattern!

For my layout I wanted to copy the striped pattern, so I stitched some strips of Treasure Island papers and vellum sheets on a white cardstock background. To get the beachy feel from the picture, I layered a 4x6 journaling card with a Castaway clear sheet behind the picture.

Paper Issues - Cut It Up Saturday

Hello everyone! It's time for a new Cut It Up Saturday at Paper Issues. This month I designed a more graphic design for you, which you can use in a variety of ways. I kept the design of my layout clean and simple. I cut the cutfile out of one of the pattern papers from the October Afternoon Summertime collection and backed up the open spaces with other papers from this same collection. I stitched the cutfile on the background paper and backed the photo with two of the memory cards.

Paper Issues - #beach #selfie

Hello everyone! It's time for a spotlight on October Afternoon Summertime over at Paper Issues today. It's another awesome OA collection, they seem to never dissapoint me! Also, they have a wide variety of gorgeous embellishments. I just need my embellishments!!

I took out this picture from a week or two ago, when I spent an afternoon at the beach with my friend and I love how this collection is perfect for those beach pictures! I also used one of the #iSpyWithPI cutfiles for the title of my layout.

Fauxdori notebook

Hello everyone! I have another fauxdori notbook to share today. Last week I made a fauxdori in passport size in a gorgeous ice-blue / grey-ish color and I had enough of this leather left to make another one out of it in the original midori size.

Below you can see how the Midori size and passport size compare to each other. I love how they look together as a cute little set!

Paper Issues - August Sketch

Hello everyone! It's time for the August sketch over at Paper Issues today. This month we have a sketch inspired by a layout from Nicole Samuels for American Crafts.

Honestly, this was a tough one for me. Like all sketches with circles are to me. I went through some collections I had laying around and as soon as I noticed the 2x2 square pieces of Simple Stories Summer Vibes, I knew I had to replace the circles with squares. I printed my pictures in 2.5x2.5 and there was the base of my layout.
