The photo I used for this layout is one of my favorites of our road trip last September. If you look closely you see me standing there on the edge and overlooking the Grand Canyon. This photo shows perfectly how huge that Canyon is. I wanted the photo to be the eye catcher and decided to go with the Pink Paislee Colorwash collection because of its beautiful soft colors.

I went back in time and used a photo of our family trip to Florida in 2011. Phiene was only 18 months old and from a distance she loved all the Disney characters, but when they came closer she got scared. We had to distract her to get at least one good picture. For this layout I used the Bella Blvd Snapshots and Daily Chevies collections, both from Paper Issues.

Elle's Studio - Happy moment

Webster's Pages - Princess dress

When I look at these photos I'm kinda in shock how fast Phiene is growing up. She's becoming a little lady with a love for beautiful clothes. However I sometimes wish she could stay a little baby forever, I have to admit that I love to see her grow up. Getting her own little opinion (sometimes a little to much) and a big interest for pretty girly stuff. The downside of all this is that she doesn't want to cuddle unlimited anymore...
