for my giveaway
It is the 2nd Tuesday of the month, so it is time for another challenge at Use it Tuesday and this time we're having a sticky situation. We want you to grab those rub-ons, stickers and embossing powders out of your stash.
***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!***
For this challenge I made a page in my art journal, because I wanted to show you how perfect rub-ons and stickers work in your art journal.
First I've put gesso on the entire page, then I colored the page with Faber Castell Gelato's in a rainbow pattern. I sprayed it with water and blended the colors with my fingers. While it was still wet, I pressed some bubble wrap on the page. That is how I created the little circles in the background.
Then I used this stencil by Donna Downey with PanPastel 800.5 Black and added some rub-ons by KI Memories that are in my stash for at least 7 years! The word 'colorful' is made with a Doodlebug sticker alphabet that I have for 8 or 9 years. The flower in the upper left corner is stamped with black ink and embossed with clear UTEE.
Now it is your turn to use your rub-ons, stickers and embossing powders. Link up your project to the Use it Tuesday blog for your chance to be our guest designer at one of our upcoming challenges!
Don't forget we are on Facebook too, so we would love if you stop by and say hi!
