My Scrapbook Nook February Kit

Time flies, we are half way February already. A new month means a new kit from My Scrapbook Nook. This month the kit was filled with October Afternoon Sasparilla. This is a collection that I probably would never buy myself, but that is what I like so much about this kit: it pushes you to work with the stuff you get. And trust me, Leah never dissapoints in her choices for the kits! I had one look at this kit and I thought this is one of the best collections for boy themed photo's, even if you don't want to use the cowboy stuff, there's plenty to use!

The first layout I want to show you, is about my 'little' brother. Last May he came home from his 6 month internship in Sidney, Australia. He had an amazing time overthere and I was really happy for him, but I couldn't help to feel even more happy to see him again after those long months. This photo of us is taken at the Amsterdam Airport, where we were anxiously waiting for him.

The second layout I'm going to share, was made for challenge #9 of the New year crop at My Scrapbook Nook. The challenge was to use a title of 10 words or more and YAY I won! I used one of the first photo's taken of baby Jan. When I saw this photo, the title was already in my head but I thought it would be a little long for a layout. And then this challenge came along....;-)
Thanks for stopping by!
