Hero Arts - new release What's Brewing

Hi friends!

Today I'm sharing three cards that I created with the new Hero Arts release What's Brewing. This is a coffee and hot tea themed release, but it lets you create cards for any occasion. Before going to the cards I've created with this collection, I would like to point out another new release with Hero Arts: Retro Kitchen. So many fun details in this collection to build your own Retro Kitchen!

I made my first card with the Coffee and Croissant die set and used the cup, plate and croissant to create this delicious scene and ink blended the images with Core Inks. The beautiful pattern at the bottom of my card is created with the Layering Delft Floral Stencils and a mix of blue Core Inks. The sentiment is from the Bring Coffee stamp set and I used some of the coffee stain stamps to add a fun detail to my card.

For my second card I die cut the cup from the Coffee and Croissant die set six times and ink blended them in the rainbow colors with Core Inks. I used the coffee stains from the Bring Coffee stamp set to create the background. With the happy, bright colors and encouraging sentiment you can totally make someone's day!

Last but not least I created a birthday card with the Coffee and Croissant die set. I ink blended the coffee pot and croissant with Core Inks. For the cup and plate I used the Layering Delft Floral Stencils to give them a cute pattern. I used Hero Hues Palm cardstock for the background and Hero Hues Charcoal cardstock for the card base.

I hope I inspired you to use the What's Brewing collection and can't wait to see what you'll create.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

DT Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero challenge

Hello friends,

I have two cards to share today that I created for the June Stay Crafty Challenge with a Blog Named Hero: Saturday in the Park. Anything picnic, park or 4th of July themed can be entered for your chance to win a $50 gift card.

For the first card I used the Spring Floral Stencil along with a blend of Reactive Glitz Inks. I love the gorgeous shimmer coming through the bright colors. I added some water splatters, since it's a reactive ink after all.

The sentiment is from a Hero Studio Card Kit and I stamped and die cut it on Hero Hues Canary cardstock. I also added an extra layer of this cardstock between the mixed media layer and card base.

The Translucent Hero Hues Enamel Dots are great to add a finishing touch to your card. On this card I used the Pinks.

My next card is in the 4th of July theme. I ink blended a night sky with Core Inks Pale Tomato, Amethyst and Nautical. On top of that I Gold heat embossed the Party Fans stamps to make them look like fireworks. The fireworks filled night sky can be seen through the Trellis Window Die that I cut out of Hero Hues Charcoal cardstock. To create this window effect, I only die cut the inner piece of the die cut.

It's your turn now and I can't wait to see what you'll create for this challenge.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
