Card - You Light Up My World

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a card using the Lawn Fawn You are Sublime set. I added fish, coral, shells and plants from the Mermaid for You set and cut the sand with Hillside borders. The sand and ocean are colored with Distress Oxide inks and I backed the scene up with a Gotta Have Gingham paper.

Card - Today is all a-boat you

Hi everyone,

Today I have a birthday card to share that I've made with Lawn Fawn Smooth Sailing. I love how versatile this set is with the different sentiments it comes with. For the front I used the sentiment 'today is all a-boat you' and I used 'Happy Birthday' from the Simply Sentiments set on the inside of the card.

I made the waves with Wavy Borders and the little piece of land with Simple Hillside Borders. The rock is from Mermaid for You. I used Distress Oxide Inks for the background: Tumbled Glass for the sky, Broken China and Blueprint Sketch for the ocean and Mowed Lawn for the land.

Card - I ruff you!

Hi everyone!

One of Blink's best friends had her birthday this week so I just had to make a card to go with the gift. Of course little Amber doesn't care much about a card, but her Mommy is just as crazy a dog person as I am so I knew she would appreciate it.

When I saw the Lawn Fawn Critters at the Dog Park set, I knew I had to have it. Especially since there are two dogs on there that look so much like Blink and Amber, it is perfect!! I added some clouds and birds from the Smooth Sailing set and die cut the grass part with the Simple Hillside border.

For the inside of the card I used the sentiment and paw print from the Critters at the Dog Park set and signed the card on behalf of Blink with the Harold's ABC's.

Paper Issues - Dads are Rad! challenge

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing another layout I made using Pretty Little Studio Shine Bright with one of our wedding pictures. I made this one for the Dads are Rad! challenge at Paper Issues.

This is one of my favorite pictures of that day, always have been a daddy's girl and I'm so happy and grateful my dad could walk me down the isle on our big day! The title is a quote from my dad's speech and we had our father daughter dance on the song 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland.

Paper Issues - Get Me to the Alter on Time Challenge

Hi everyone!

When I ordered the Pretty Little Studio Shine Bright collection, I had completely different pictures in mind to use with it. Then I noticed the 'Get Me to the Alter on Time' challenge at Paper Issues and realized that this collection is perfect for wedding pictures! So I printed a bunch of our wedding pics and made a couple layouts.

So far I only had done a couple pictures of our wedding in my travel journal last year, but no 12x12" layouts yet. We didn't hit our one year anniversary yet, so I'm still quite on time LOL. Today I'm sharing the first layout I made.

Cards - Altenew

Hi everyone,

Today I have some cards to share that I made mixing up the Altenew Beautiful Day and Peony Bouquet stamp and die sets. It still amazes me how easy it is to create gorgeous flowers with stamps like these. And all these sets mix and match perfectly! On all cards I used Distress Oxide inks.

Layout - Summer

Hi everyone,

I've made a layout again! It has been a while since I had quite some cards to make. I just made this one for fun, using the Simple Stories Sunshine & Blue Skies collection, available at Paper Issues. The picture is taken on our porch, where Blink always picks the sunny spot to relax. Total island girl who enjoys the heat!

Card - Feel better soon

Hi everyone!

Today I have another card to share that I've made upon request. This time it had to be a card for a man, which I find so much harder to do. Colors for a man are obvious, but where you can get away with any flower or cute image for women, you don't have that many options for men. On top of that, I mostly have nautical themed stamps, so I'm basically stuck to boats, anchors etc. for masculine cards.

I started the card with Vicki Boutin blue crayons and her bubble stencil to make a background. Then I stamped the sail boat from 49 and Market and the sentiment from Technique Tuesday with Archival Jet Black. The Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham paper pack is all masculine colors, so I covered the front of my card with a piece of that and put the stamped white cardstock on top of it with foam tape for dimension.

Lawn Fawn - Mermaid Birthday cards

Hi everyone!

The two birthday cards I have to share today are made upon request for some twin girls who are totally in love with anything mermaid. One loves pink, the other purple so it was an easy request :-)
Besides the Lawn Fawn Mermaid for You set, I used Ahoy Matey, So Jelly, Wave Borders and Hillside Borders. The backgrounds are done with Distress Oxide inks.

Taco Card

Hi everyone!

I have one more Taco card to share for now, that I've made with the Lawn Fawn Year Nine set. For previous cards I die cut a circle out of the blue Gringham paper and when I do so, I make sure that I place the circle in such a way that I can use the negative on a card again. Meaning that I don't place the circle all the way against the edge of the paper.

I attached the paper to a card base and stamped the sprinkles from this set in four different Distress Oxide ink colors in the white circle. I colored the tacos with Copic markers and the sentiment is stamped with Harold's ABC.

Card - Let's have tacos!

Hi everyone!

Today I have some more Taco cards to share that I made with the Lawn Fawn Year Nine set. For both I die cut a piece of Gringham paper with the stitched rectangle die to use as a background. With the first card I stamped around the Gringham paper with the candle stamp from this same stamp set, in a light grey color. For the second card I colored the card base with a blending tool and Distress Oxide Ink.

Card - Let's Taco 'bout your birthday

Hi everyone!

Today I have two cards to share that I made with the Lawn Fawn Year Nine set. This taco set is so cute! In our restaurant Taco Tuesday is a very popular weekly event, so I decided to make cards our guests can buy to invite their friends for Taco Tuesday.

For both cards I used a circle die to create a window. The front I stamped with the party head for the first card and the sprinkles for the second card from this stamp set in four different colors. I die cut the same size circle out of a paper from the Gringham paper pack and stamped the sentiment with versamark and white heat embossed it. This circle with the tacos is glued on the inside of the card.

Card - You're Jawsome

Hi everyone!

Today I have a Father's Day card to share. I used the Lawn Fawn Duh-nuh set, mixed with Ahoy Matey and Wavey Accents, Wave Borders and Hillside Borders. I finally got my Copic markers in, which makes the coloring so much easier than water coloring. For the background I used Distress Oxide inks.
