DT Creative Scrappers - sketch #267

I hope you enjoyed our Birthday blog hop last Friday, it was so much fun and we had so many fabulous sponsors. Today we have a new sketch for you at Creative Scrappers! This one is sponsored by My Creative Scrapbook.

For my layout I used these photos of Phiene, taken during one of our shopping trips. We went to Sephora and I showed her how to play with make up and she enjoyed it so much, she just needs a little more practice! I used the Dear Lizzy Day Dreamer collection, which is perfectly girly and is a great match to the photos.

I hope you will have as much fun as I had with this sketch. Don't forget to link up your layout over at Creative Scrappers for your chance to win a My Creative Scrapbook kit!

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your Sunday!

Clique Kits - April Honor Society Blog Hop

Welcome to the Clique Kits Pep Rally! Along the hop you'll find lots of gorgeous projects made with the April kit Debutante.

For this blog hop we all share a little bit about ourselfs to get to know the person behind the project a little better. A very important part of my life is traveling, I love to see and explore many parts of the world. It is also the perfect way to escape from reality and having nothing to worry about, it keeps me sane!

Because of all the traveling I have seen so many airports, but McCarran International airport in Las Vegas is my favorite. I love how close it is to the Strip, which gives you a perfect view when you arrive or leave. The last time I left Las Vegas I decided to take some shots during take off. The title 'to be continued' is because I'm 100% sure I'll be back here!

Now it's time for you to check out what my Clique friends have created, so here's your hop list.

DT Life.Paper.Scrapbook. - April Mood Board challenge

It's time for a new Mood Board challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook. and I'm totally in love with these bright colors!

Of course I had to go with the Amy Tangerine Plus One collection, to me it was the best fit to the mood board. I chose a picture that was as colorful as possible. It's taken during a ride on the Caro-seuss-el in Island of Adventures, which is one of my favorites!

DT Paper Issues - Pitch Perfect

We have a new issue for you at Paper Issues: Pitch Perfect! You can think of many subjects to link up: singing, a capella groups, playing an instrument, your favorite baseball team (pitching), your favorite movie, your idea of perfection, camping (pitching a tent), toddler tantrums (pitching a fit) etc.

This issue is sponsored by Lawn Fawn. We got this awesome 'Stay Tuned' stamp set to work with and the best news is that you can win this set if you join our issue!!

My dad is singing in a chanty choir and a picture of the choir was perfect for this issue. I grew up with the old sailor songs that they sing and to me it's a joy to see them perform. It reminds of me the days that my grandfather played the accordion, which brings back so many beautiful memories. I also got the love for a wide variety of music from my dad and I'll be forever thankful for that!

For the layout I went for the Dear Lizzy Daydreamer collection, which is actually a girly collection but I always like to use a collection in a different way than the obvious. I also added some embellishments from the Paper Issues March Swag Bag and of course I used the Lawn Fawn 'Stay Tuned' stamp set.

In case you didn't noticed yet, the new Webster's Pages products arrived at the Paper Issues store. So hurry to grab them while they are still there and use my code DANIELLE20 for 20% off your entire purchase!

Thanks for stopping by and have fun creating for our new issue!

DT Creative Scrappers - sketch #266

We're having a new sketch for you at Creative Scrappers and it's sponsored by Scraptastic kit club.

When I saw this sketch, I immediately thought of the Teresa Collins Daily Stories collection because of the Circles paper. I used a 1,5 inch circle punch and created the circle border.

Be sure to link up your layouts based on our April sketches overhere at Creative Scrappers for your chance to win a Scraptastic kit!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Sunday!

GDT Clique Kits - Today this happened

Today I'm sharing my second layout that I've made with the Clique Kits Debutante kit.

Last Saturday I went to Delft to meet up with my scrappy friend Monique. Delft is not even 30 minutes away from me, but I don't go there as often as I should. It has such a beautiful historic city center, I went all nuts with taking pictures! I felt like a tourist in my own country. Delft actually is very touristic and there are many fun photo spots, like this one with the huge wooden shoes.

For the layout I decided to print this picture twice, one in color and one in black & white. I wanted to give this layout some kind of street art feeling, which works perfectly with the airbrush elements in the Plus One collection and the splatters on the journaling cards.

You can sign up for the Clique Kits overhere on their website. The kits come with fabulous exclusive flair buttons, printables and die cuts that match perfectly to the papers!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

GDT Clique Kits - Here we go

This month I'm guest designing for Clique Kits, who just released their very first kit: Debutante. It's such a joy to play with this kit, I love all the Amy Tangerine Plus One in it and the matching Clique exclusive printables, flair buttons and die cuts.

This first layout I've made with the Debutante kit is about my niece Phiene during our family vacation in Orlando Florida. At the time she was only 2,5 years old, but she was so excited to do the slides at Aquatica. She has no fear and was so proud of herself that she even did some big ones. All the bright colors in the picture were a perfect match with the Plus One papers.

I used the Pinkfresh colorblock veneer hearts as photo corners.

The Amy Tangerine Plus One alpha stickers are the only thing that didn't came with the kit, but I think they are a perfect addition to this layout.

As you can see I'm in love with the exclusive printables that came with the Debutante kit. I've already made a couple of prints of them and I'm sure I will use them a lot!

The Clique Kits come with some fun die cut files as well, like this snapshot frame.

I hope you're as excited as I am about Clique Kits! If you want to become a subscriber, you can sign up overhere on their website. You can also find Clique Kits on Facebook, Instagram and Flickr, so be sure to follow them to not miss out on anything!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
