Paper Issues - Attachment Issues

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a layout for the Attachment Issues challenge at Paper Issues. We are challenging you to create a page featuring those ways to attach things: staples, paper clips, brads, eyelets etc.

For my layout I used the Pinkfresh Studio Days of Splendor collection, which was perfect for this picture of Blink sleeping. I attached all the frames with staples and used faux stitches from Pretty Little Studio.

Paper Issues - Sprinkle it with Love

Hi everyone,

Today I'm sharing a layout for the Paper Issues Sprinkle it with Love challenge. We want you to show us those projects that feature sequins, sprinkle some mist around, use Nuvo drops or scrap those photos that have sprinkles in them.

For my layout I used the Pretty Little Studio Miss Sadie Rose collection and sprinkled the background with a raindrop stencil and Distress Oxide Inks. For the title I used a Elle's Studio puffy alphabet.

I can't wait to see what you'll create for this challenge!

Paper Issues - LIVE

Last Wednesday I was LIVE in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans facebook group with another challenge for the Fall Crop. If you didn't get a chance to join, you can watch the replay in the group.
This time I made a layout for the Let's Get Social challenge, which is about selfies, snapshat etc. I used this selfie of Blink and I, taken on my birthday. Blink is absolutely not shy of the camera and often pulls up a funny face. I worked with the Pretty Little Studio Chasing the Sun collection.

Paper Issues Fall Crop LIVE

Today I have another layout to share that I've made for the Fall Crop at Paper Issues, during my LIVE with Mary-Ann on Sunday evening. I love this picture of Blink on a surf board, taken on Oak Island, NC last September. To keep the Summer feel of this picture I used the Pretty Little Studio Chasing the Sun collection.

Paper Issues - Scraplift Sunday

Hi everyone!

It's been a while...but we just got back from a month vacation and I'm happy to be creating again! What better way to get back at it than Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues? Today we are lifting a gorgeous layout by Kelly.

The picture in this layout is probably one of my favorites from our trip. It's taken in San Diego where we found these giant beach loungers, I put Blink on one and sat myself down on the other.
For my take I used the gorgeous Pretty Little Studio Chasing the Sun collection. One of the embellishment packs in this collection is the Sunset Word Die-Cuts that make it super easy to create the circle title. To finish the page up, I used some Nuvo Drops.

Paper Issues - Secret Life of Pets

Hi everyone!

I made another layout for the Secret Life of Pets challenge at Paper Issues. The story behind this picture is that Blink really likes to have her space at times, but her friend Rover doesn't always agree with that and likes to snuggle up with her. So when Blink was just chilling on the porch, Rover went to lay against her, first on his side. Blink gave me a look like 'can you please get him away from me?' and then Rover rolled on his back like he was saying 'come on, I love you and now you have to rub my belly'. I was dying laughing but luckily I was able to get a picture before Blink moved to the other side of the porch. Of course Rover followed her there :-)

For this layout I used papers from Pretty Little Studio Bohemian Dreams, ephemera from Maggie Holmes and puffy stickers from Vicki Boutin. These come all from different Paper Issues monthly kits. The title is made with Bella Blvd Florence alpha stickers. I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops, wood veneer pieces and a button from A Flair for Buttons.

Paper Issues - Scraplift Sunday

Hi everyone!

It's Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues and today's inspiration is by Kelly. I love how she surrounded her picture with embellishments. I went for another wedding picture and Pretty Little Studio Shine Bright.
I started with white cardstock and used a Vicky Boutin blue crayon with water to drip on the background. With the embellishments that come with this collection, it was easy to lift Kelly' layout. As a finishing touch I added two colors Nuvo drops randomly over my layout.

Today I have a 30 minute layout to share. I just love it when that happens! Mostly it happens with the Scraplift Sunday challenge though, it's just easy when someone else basically did all the thinking for you already :-)

This time the challenge is based on a layout made by Stacie and you can find it here in the July challenge album in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans facebook page. For my layout I used the Pretty Little Studio Shine Bright collection, which is great for wedding pictures. On this layout a picture of our first dance. I love the angle of the picture, how you see the lights hanging there like we're dancing under the stars.

Paper Issues - Dads are Rad! challenge

Today I'm sharing another layout I made using Pretty Little Studio Shine Bright with one of our wedding pictures. I made this one for the Dads are Rad! challenge at Paper Issues.

This is one of my favorite pictures of that day, always have been a daddy's girl and I'm so happy and grateful my dad could walk me down the isle on our big day! The title is a quote from my dad's speech and we had our father daughter dance on the song 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland.

When I ordered the Pretty Little Studio Shine Bright collection, I had completely different pictures in mind to use with it. Then I noticed the 'Get Me to the Alter on Time' challenge at Paper Issues and realized that this collection is perfect for wedding pictures! So I printed a bunch of our wedding pics and made a couple layouts.

So far I only had done a couple pictures of our wedding in my travel journal last year, but no 12x12" layouts yet. We didn't hit our one year anniversary yet, so I'm still quite on time LOL. Today I'm sharing the first layout I made.

Pretty Little Studio - Celebrate

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my last project as a member of the Pretty Little Studio design team. A huge thank you to Melissa for having me, it was an absolute joy working with you and your products!

The Pretty Little Studio products are perfect to make a quick card. The base of the card is white cardstock and I covered it with the Rocky Mountains vellum, which gives you a spectacular background. All you need to add is a note cutout with your sentiment and a big word art, like the celebrate one.

Pretty Little Studio - sunrise

Hello everyone! Today I'm up on the Pretty Little Studio blog with a Thursday Tip. The tip is about this layout, you can read all about it overhere. I wanted to use a mask along with watercolors, but I probably used too much water so it all went running over the background. I let it dry to see how it would turn out and decided to leave it this way. You can still see some of the dots from the mask and I was meaning to create an ombre effect to mimic the sunrise. That worked out anyway. I added some black splatters and built some layers with papers and transparancies for a cluster behind the picture.
