When I saw this picture for the first time, the title 'Prince Charming' was what immediately came up in my mind. I used the Elle's Studio Cameron collection and the title is made with Amy Tangerine's corrugated Thickers.

DT Creative Scrappers - sketch #263

We have a new sketch for you at Creative Scrappers today! I hardly use photos on my layouts this big, so I loved to get challenged to give it a try. Our sponsor this month is Chic Tags! 

I chose a photo of my dolphin swim on Key Largo a couple years ago. For the strips on the right side of the page I went for the washi strips from the Crate Paper The Pier collection.

Elle's Studio - Thursday sketch

I decided to play along with this week's sketch from Elle's Studio. I love the design and all the circles in this one.

I had this photo of Phiene where she's totally focused on the I-pad. I'm still amazed how easy little kids know how to operate any kind of computer or tablet and how 'normal' it is that they watch movies and cartoons on it. You can definitely call this the I-pad generation!

I'll also link up this layout at the current issue at Paper Issues. It's called Color by the Numbers and to fit this issue I used the number paper, the number woord veneers and of course the bright colored papers of the Elle's Studio Everyday Moments collection. What I love about the Mood Board challenge is that you don't have to go with the colors in it, you can use it in any way it inspires you. I have to admit that my imagination went a little crazy on this one, but I started with thinking about things I love and that make me happy. That's how I came to use this pic taken at my local book store. Then I actually wanted to go for a hearts background made with the Silhouette, but it turned out in this diagonal background made with the word 'books'.
