DT Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero challenge

Hello friends!

I'm back today with my 2nd card for this month's Stay Crafty Challenge: Mr. Postman, create a card and mail it.

Cards that are guaranteed mailed every month are birthday cards, so I created two different cards with the same stamp sets. For the backgrounds I used the Mail Jumble Background Cling stamp, the sentiment and balloons are from the February Hero Studio Card Kit.

For the first card I used these stamps with a variety of embossing powders. The Mail Jumble Background Cling stamp is heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder on Bermuda Cardstock. I die cut three of the balloons and on one of them I used the stamp with Gold Embossing Powder. The sentiment stamped on Peony cardstock and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

On the second card I used the Mail Jumble Background Cling stamp with Reactive Inks: Taffy, Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Blue Raspberry and Thistle to create a rainbow-colored background. I die cut three balloons out of Sand Cardstock and stamped one of them with Raspberry Jam Core Ink. The sentiment is stamped on Sand Cardstock as well and I cut the card base out of this cardstock.

I hope you're inspired to create different cards with the same products. The design of both cards might be the same, but the different colors and mediums make them look completely different.

You still have time to play along with the March challenge and have a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Hero Arts store.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
