Happy Friday!
It is time for the April challenge at A Blog Named Hero and this month's challenge is 'Opposites Attract': create with opposite colors on the color wheel or a mirror image.
For my card I used the Floral Pattern Cover Plate Die and instead of die cutting it, I used a silicone mat which only leaves an impression in the Peony cardstock. I did die cut the Canary cardstock with the Floral Pattern Cover Plate and trimmed it in half so it left me with half the flower pattern. The centers of the flowers are ink blended with Papaya Core Ink. I placed the die cut flowers over the matching flowers in the background and it creates a mirrored image, that stands out more, of the bottom half of the card.
The sentiment is a die from the February Hero Studio Card kit and I die cut it out of Canary cardstock as well. I ink blended the bottom of the word with Papaya Core Ink.
For some fun detail I added Translucent Greens Hero Hues Enamel Dots to the centers of the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative weekend.
